Completion of Course Requirements:
All completed course requirements should be received no later than the first Monday in August immediately following the Academy.  Send hard copies of all work to your professor.  (Work will not be returned unless special arrangements are made with the professor. In the area of music, you will receive an email noting your grade and giving you comments on your submitted work.)   Grades for this work are issued as a part of Summer Second Term.  NO GRADES WILL BE MAILED to students.  At the end of the semester (after August 15) you’ll be able to go on-line to check your grade.  The first thing you need to do is to set up what is called a BIC account at the following web address:  http://bic.belmont.edu.  It will be very important that you check your BIC account and make sure your grade is recorded at the end of the summer.

Once you have done this, follow the on-line instructions to check your grades online.  You should plan to do this before the end of August since your access to Banner Web (the network on which this is posted) will not remain once the fall semester gets underway.  If you have problems accessing your grade, contact Belmont Central at 615-460-5402.  This is a central problem-solving office on campus.  HOWEVER, be aware that the beginning of school is a VERY busy time for a university and someone may not be able to talk with you at the moment you call.
