by car/from airport
Directions to campus by car:
From I-65 South – exit at Wedgewood Avenue and go west (left) through two traffic lights. Belmont’s main administration building, Freeman hall (large white building on the left) is at the intersections of Wedgewood and 16th Ave. After continuing through the traffic light at 16th, proceed just a few feet to the traffic light at 17th/Magnolia. At this intersection, turn left. Proceed for one short block and turn left at the next traffic light on to 18th Ave. Go just a few feet and take the first possible left on Acklen Ave. Continue for one block to the Stop sign and turn right into the campus. The Leu Center for the Visual Arts building is the second building on the right. It is a round-ish building. Parking is available on the street.
From I-40 west
– take I-440 east and exit at 21st Avenue. Go north (toward downtown Nashville). Turn right onto Portland Ave. Turn left onto Belmont Blvd. The Leu Center for the Visual Arts building is the first building on the left. It is the round-ish building. Parking is available on the street.
From I-40 east –
take I-440 west, following the directions to Nashville, this will take you onto I-65. At the first exit, Wedgewood Ave., go left (west) through two traffic lights. If driving, take I-40 west toward downtown Nashville. Follow the signs to I-440 west (left with I-24 at the fork, then right onto I-440). Exit onto I-65 toward downtown Nashville and go to the first exit, which will be Wedgewood Ave. Turn left, going west on Wedgewood.
